My Whoodle

My Whoodle Transport Options

When reserving a Whoodle from My Whoodle, you will have a couple of options available. You are always welcome to pick up your puppy in person, but we also have direct delivery via, puppy travel nanny. Each option is summarized below:

Flight nanny

Hand-Delivered Air Travel

Our dedicated flight nannies hand-carry your puppy into the airplane cabin, keeping them safe, calm, and cared for the entire duration of the flight. All you have to do is meet your nanny right at your nearest airport’s arrivals gate to receive your puppy.

Fly In & Meet Us

If you prefer to fly in yourself, we make it incredibly easy. We will coordinate a seamless airport meet-up to hand off your puppy directly to you, giving you plenty of time to catch your immediate return flight home with your new family member.

Regional Road Meetups

If you are driving to get your puppy, we are happy to help make your road trip easier. We can coordinate a convenient local hand-off, or we can hit the road and drive partway in your direction to split the distance and save you time. We will work directly with you to arrange a smooth, seamless meeting spot that gets your new family member safely into your arms.

Traveling with a Nanny

We understand that most families are several states away and logistics can be difficult or just outright not possible, this is the best option. We can arrange either ground  transportation for closer states or air transportation via a flight nanny, which ever is available based on your location and the schedule of our nannies. If your puppy is flying with a nanny, this price will consist of travel expense and plane ticket plus $200-400 depending on the length of the flight (for that nannies time.)

If a flight nanny is available, this person will sit on the airplane with your puppy. They will be there with the puppy the entire time during flight. You must be able to meet the nanny at your nearest airport to pick up your puppy with this option.

We are open to international deliver where possible with special arrangement, Canada families may meet our flight nannies at the U.S. border.

Airport Meet-up

We will meet you at Salt Lake City International Airport and hand off your puppy to you there. Most families book an immediate return flight (at least 2 hours is usually pretty safe for the layover,) while others prefer to stay a night and fly out the next morning.

Again, airports are one of the most the most common places to harbor Parvo, DO NOT let your puppy out at the airport.

Local Pick-up

since our recent relocation to Utah, our protocol has had to change.

When we were based in Idaho, we loved having families come out to our house to pick up their puppies. However, in getting to know the local veterinarians in our new area, we received some incredibly sobering advice. The vets here warned us that Parvo is extremely prevalent in the region. One flatly told us that it isn’t a question of if a property gets exposed, but when. We were urged to start our vaccination schedule a week early and strictly tighten our biosecurity.

We can arrange an appointment to meet you for the handoff in the Spanish Fork area. If you are traveling from a longer distance, we are also happy to drive up to 2 or 3 hours in your direction to complete the pickup and help out with some of the driving.

When coming to pick your puppy up (after they are 8 weeks old), we recommend the following guidelines:

Please do not come in contact with another breeder or another dog (other than your own fully vaccinated and healthy dog) 3 days prior. Additionally, try to avoid dog parks, public park, airport or highway rest stop. These four places are known to have an extremely high probability of harboring the deadly disease “Parvo”.

Parvo can survive on the ground and on the soles of shoes for up to 7 years, and can be transmitted to places where you walk. Compared to human viruses it’s like the Bubonic Plague (Black Death). Once you get it on your property or shoes, it’s virtually impossible to eradicate.

Puppies are highly susceptible to this virus and the majority of the time, once infected, it will kill the whole litter and future litters. This is the main reason why many other breeders DO NOT allow people to come visit their properties.

This protocol is necessary to help ensure the health and well being of our adult dogs and especially our puppies. Thanks for your cooperation!
