Frequently Asked Questions
There are a lot of questions that go into researching whether one of our Whoodles are right for you, so to help aid in your research, we’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions.
What is The Price of Your Puppies?
Our Puppies are $3,500 regardless of gender, size or color. Each Whoodle comes micro-chipped with a 8-year health guarantee, a starter kit with food, scent blanket and some toys, and a puppy aptitude report when the puppies reach 6 weeks of age. This will give you an idea of what each puppy’s personality will be like before choosing your puppy.
We offer puppy transportation anywhere in the U.S. via a puppy nanny.
You also have the option to enroll your new puppy in our obedience training program. Our training program starts out at $1,800 for the 4-week course.
Many of our customers have asked if we ever offer fully trained adult Whoodle. If you’re looking for an adult that is house trained and fully obedience trained, we do offer some on occasion. You can visit our Trained Whoodles page to see pricing and availability.
Where are you located?
We are located on a small 13 acre ranch in Blackfoot, Idaho but we transport nationwide with a puppy nanny.
You are also welcome to come pick your puppy up directly.
Can I visit?
My Whoodle does allow Approved depositors adopting from a current litter, to come out to our property and meet their puppy in person. Pleas note, we do have Visiting Guidelines to ensure dangerous contaminates don’t put our puppies at risk. Also keep in mind, this is our home and visits must be scheduled in advanced.
Our wonderful Whoodle puppies are adopted by people from all over the US and Canada, we’re well aware that even though most people would love to come and visit our puppies in person, that just isn’t realistic for most people.
For this reason, we offer families the option of scheduling a zoom call and see their puppies play and interact while I answer any questions you have.
Can you tell me more about your business?
My Whoodle is the premiere breeder and trainer of Whoodles. Our breeding standards include taking care of and loving our parents, they are a part of our family.
We were actually professional dog trainers before we started our breeding program, which gives us the unique ability to offer obedience training on site, that is specialized for the Whoodle breed. Our Whoodle training programs include socializing Whoodles with other dogs, basic obedience commands like sit, stay, lay down, kennel, walking on a leash, and house manners.
What supplies do I need for my puppy?
Getting your first puppy can be very exciting and you may want to run to your nearest pet store (or Amazon) and purchase all sorts of toys, treats, play pens, etc. But I urge you to take a step back and start simple.
The first things on our list of Puppy supply essentials include a pet carrier, a bed, food and water bowls, a collar and leash, treats, and stain & order removers (for the occasional accidents in the home)
What are the best house training techniques?
House training is not something you can accomplish in just a few weeks. When your Whoodle is still a puppy, it’s important to understand their bladder is still very week and frequent potty breaks are essential.
There are a lot of areas to cover with house training, so we wrote an article titled House Training Your Whoodle which includes an infographic giving you best tips.
What is your adoption process?
Puppies are only available to approved depositors. Start by filling out a Puppy Application.
Once you are approved and have placed a deposit, you have a couple of options:
You can adopt any available puppy
You can place your name on our Master List of Depositors
Once we receive your deposit, your name will be added to the depositor master list. When we announce a new litter, we’ll notify you by email of the opportunity to transfer from the general master list to the specific litter. The email will contain a link to the page with a form to apply to place your name on that specific litter. If you do not want a puppy from the litter that we announce, you can ignore the email and wait for the next litter announcement. Keep in mind that some of our depositors are waiting for specific litters, colors, genders, etc. So even if you are #10 on our master list you could still have a chance at getting on any litter that we announce if the people ahead of you are not interested in getting a puppy from that litter.
If you have any additional questions that are not covered on this page, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help!
