About My Whoodle
About Me
Hi, I’m Daniel, I grew up on my families 3,000 acre potato farm in Tetonia Idaho, just over the mountain of our well known neighbors in Jackson Hole Wyoming and about an hour outside Yellowstone.
Growing up, my family was definitely a dog family. Throughout my childhood, we rescued and adopted several dogs.
I now live on a small 13 acre ranch in Blackfoot Idaho. I have been Professionally training dogs since 2016 and have been breeding Whoodles since late 2017.
We strive to be the best breeder possible and proved the highest quality pet, companion or service animal. Our program is based on the highest standards of health, temperament, and confirmation, in that order.

How it all started
Around 2015-2016, the unique opportunity to learn more about dog training, and eventually train at professional level came into my life and I was able to start training dogs as my full time career.
I worked onsite with some different breeders as well as with 1 on 1 clients. I worked with several breeds including Labs, Labradoodles, Ausies, Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles and several other breeds. But Doodle mixes were by far the most common.
However, after training dogs for a few years I had a sudden onset of allergies to dogs.
Why Whoodles?
I was introduced to Wheatens and Whoodles through one of the breeders that I had trained for. And quickly learned what set them apart from most other breeds and other doodles in particular. After becoming allergic, I knew that everyone in the doodle craze was being tricked into thinking that anything mixed with a poodle was “non shedding.” And would now argue that more than half of the most popular poodle mixes WILL shed. And since I began breeding Whoodles, I’ve met several families who have learned that the hard way. So I knew there were a lot of families (myself included) who wanted and in some cases needed a truly non shedding poodle mix.
That is the place for a Whoodle! While no dog is truly non shedding, Whoodle shedding is more comparable to the way humans shed, with just few hairs falling out here and there. They do not have an undercoat that blows out in the spring and gets thick in the winter.
Aside from the shedding, I learned that Wheatens are known as one of the most beloved family pets in the world but they aren’t without their difficulties. They are known to have a hyper streak and a slight stubborn bone. Which just so happen to be two of the Poodle’s strong suites being highly intelligent and trainable while (usually) having a calm reserved dimeener, they do an amazing job of tempering the whoodle into the perfect family pet and excellent candidates for Service Animals.
Our First Litter
We had our first litter in 2017 at my home in Tetonia, and immediately knew there was place for them in so many families. The high allergy families were floored by the not so well known mix and from that first litter, we had heard back that one of them went on to become and emergency alert service dog! After learning how such a special breed could change lives in a way that most other breeds can’t, I started MyWhoodle LLC in 2018 and committed myself to becoming the highest quality breeder out there.
