My Whoodle

My Whoodle Imprint Program

The first few months are
crucial in a puppies development. Habits and practices a young puppy learns
(both good and bad) are often more difficult to teach or correct later on down
the road.
It’s Important to start off on the right Paw!

What does it look like?

Fully Trained Whoodles Available, Without The Wait

We understand that there are many people looking for a Whoodle that is already beyond the early puppy stage, with some basic fundamentals established. With that in mind, we often select puppies for our training program that will be offered fully trained and without the wait.

How does it work?

Our training program focuses on young puppies, starting with them right at 8 weeks. This is the most crucial age in a puppies development, manners and habits learned at this age ( both good and bad ) will likely stick with a puppy throughout his/her entire life, or until corrected, which can be very difficult.

Puppies stay at our home where we work with each puppy through one on one training sessions, twice a day, 5-6 days per week. Just like people, Puppies need breaks too, as over training can cause puppies to become stressed or even digression in training.

Puppies usually stay in our program 4 weeks or, more or less depending on what level of discipline you are wanting.  At 4 weeks, we consider the puppy fully trained, manners and obedience will become second nature to the puppy as well as being very well socialized and desensitized.

Training Methods

Over the years of providing training and working with several different breeds, We’ve found that starting out early gives the best results in how a puppy behaves throughout his/her life. Our reward based training methods consists of a few basic components.

Positive reinforcement is extremely important when teaching a puppy new behavior. We encourage the puppy and always let him know whenever he does the right thing!

However the most important components of our training program is by far, patience and consistency. We will take your puppy on walks twice a day, where we practice basic obedience and manners both on and eventually off the leash.

The idea is to make a positive lifelong impression on puppies at this young, crucial age, where they are the most malleable.  The manners and habits a young puppy form will often stick with them throughout the majority of their life, both good and bad.  Which can be infinitely more difficult to correct as time goes on.  The time and patience are well worth it!
